I started out looking for felt shingles to replace the existing felt roof on our leaking tub house. In researching this I came across the Light Weight Tile Company and gave them a call. They were so very helpful on the telephone, answering the very many questions I bombarded them with. BTW I am a complete roofing novice but class myself as an "ok" DIYer. In conversation I discovered that their factory was quite close to us so my wife and I paid a visit yesterday. Again, so very helpful. Helping with colour choices and methods of fixing and, importantly for me, helping me to formulate my "plan of attack". So, after spending an hour with them they gave us a price and encouraged us to go away and think. This we did. Rang this morning to place the order...and the bits and pieces are being delivered tomorrow. I promised to send them images of the work..so check out the gallery.

I purchased a full roofing system to do over cladding on my conservatory roof. With basic DIY skills and the instructions. It such an easy task. I also put foil insulation in between the old roof and the tiles. The results are amazing. The conservatory is now so quite and cool, we now use it every day.I was quoted £8000 to have the roof converted, but the whole job has cost me £1300 and that has also included white ceiling cladding and all the materials I used.
The team at light weight were so helpful and put my mind at rest.. as I have never done any DIY on that scale before. Neighbours have said that it looks great and they couldn't tell that it wasn't a pot tiled roof. With the teams advice, I was able to complete the job by myself. Thanks light weight. A true 5 star company

You have a first class product and I would recommend it, At 75 years old I was able to re roof all of the sheds my self as they are so light and easy to use. As you can see there is one more shed to be done, and with a few left overs from the other sheds I was able to make a shelter for the robo mower!

I would like to thank all at lightweight tiles for their help, as I could not find any builder in my area to fit the tiles. I rang lightweight tiles up and they gave me Lewis Nicholas’ phone number. I rang him up and he came out within days to give me a price to supply and fit. The very next day he emailed me a price which I was happy with, the very next week he came and started work on my roof
Lewis and his mate were very tidy, and they worked long hours (I supplied fish and chips one night) they did a very good job, I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him.
